Secondecimal Squad is an internal field-operations app used by Secondecimal's sales agents to record visits to rice mills. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects from agents and how it is used. This app is provisioned only to employees and authorized agents of Secondecimal — it is not available to the general public.
1. Information We Collect
- Your name and mobile number (used to sign in via OTP)
- Precise GPS location captured at the moment you check in at a mill
- Photos you capture during a check-in
- Visit details you enter: rice mill name, mill contact number, visit outcome, and notes
- Device push-notification token, used to deliver messages from your admin
- Basic device information (OS version, device model) for troubleshooting
2. How We Use Your Data
- Verify you are a registered, active sales agent before granting app access
- Record and time-stamp your field visits, including the mill's location and address
- Show your check-in history and location to Secondecimal's admin/management team
- Deliver messages and task updates sent to you by your admin
- Improve territory coverage tracking and field operations accountability
3. Sharing of Data
- Visit and location data is visible only to Secondecimal's internal admin/management team
- We do not sell or share your data with the rice mills you visit or any other third party
- We may disclose data to government bodies if required by law
4. Data Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Photos are stored in a private cloud storage bucket accessible only via authenticated, time-limited links.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and visit records for as long as you remain an active agent, or as required for Secondecimal's business records and legal compliance.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting your admin or support@secondecimal.com.
Third-Party Services
The app uses Firebase (Google) for sign-in and push notifications, and Google Maps for location and address lookup. These providers process data under their own privacy terms.
Policy Updates
We may revise this policy periodically. Agents will be notified of any significant changes via app updates.
